Overview:
High Street Loyal is a loyalty platform supported by Visa in the UK, designed for merchants to encourage their customers to dine out, shop, and use local services on their high street. Customers earn and redeem points, fostering a circular economic cycle.
As part of the customer value proposition, the company wanted to offer customers the ability to donate their points to a charity of their choice. In addition, it was discovered that consumers wanted to maximize their points, which were sometimes left unused. Our solution was to create a functionality to allow members to automatically designate a portion of their points to be donated to charities, along with a manual option to give them more control.
My task as UX designer was to seamlessly integrate the charity partner’s API into our established redemption journey. This included promoting the new donation offering through webapp enhancements, a dedicated landing page, and promotional materials in post-purchase mobile messages.
